Downes For Barkhamsted Board of Selectmen

The purpose of this letter is to encourage Barkhamsted residents to consider electing William
Downes to the Board of Selectmen. I have known the family for over forty years and can
attest to his sincere dedication to his family as well as the community. Bill advocates
prudent fiscal responsibility through controlled spending and is respectful of the
burden taxpayers face today. He also endorses the preservation of open space, which
is important to many of us who live in Riverton and Pleasant Valley. Again, please
consider voting for Bill Downes on November 6th.
