As someone who is familiar with the needs and issues of our small community, Richard Winn,
a born and raised Barkhamsted resident and ten year veteran of the Board of Selectmen,
is the man to elect for first selectman this November.
Richard Winn is just who our citizens need to have in this local leadership position.
Along with his running mate Bill Downes, their experience and dedication will maintain
a responsible town budget, limit commercial growth to keep our rural feel but bring in
enough new business to keep taxes down, and continue to ensure a fine education for all
of Barkhamsted's children.
